Finally Electric Gates!

We are working on moving the East Gate some 20 feet in toward the runway and widening it. We are going to build a swinging wrought iron gate and adding a motor! We are seeking information and donations. Our best guess is about $2500 to do this.

Donations over $150 get their own wireless gate opener! We will also have a key pad.

If you are familiar with electric gates, please help us with your knowledge.

Items we think we need:

• Key Pad pedestal to hold the keypad

• Cool Glider Single swing gate to open to 100 deg.

• Way to open if motor fails.

• IR (or other) safety to not allow gate to close until your trailer is clear! Normal timed, but some kind of back-up.

• Gate opener exit wand, will open the gate as you approach the gate

• Wireless transmitters to open gate

We cannot afford to start the project until we at least get $2,000. If you are able to donate to the cause, see Bret or Karen, We are also looking for a 20ft telephone pole to set the gate.

West gate will only open by remotes, and only timed opening, using the existing gate.
